CoinGecko’s GambleFi category was worth about $8.09 billion on 13 October 2026. One token, RAIN, made up roughly $7.39 billion of it, about 91 percent of the whole sector (CoinGecko Gambling category).
Take RAIN out and the rest of GambleFi is worth about $0.70 billion. That is every casino token, sportsbook token and house-pool token on the list, combined.
GambleFi is usually sold as the future of iGaming. It is a small token sector sitting beside two very large businesses: custodial crypto casinos that never needed a token, and prediction markets that never called themselves gambling.
This report is for founders launching a casino, sportsbook or prediction-market token, their GTM leads, and the funds sizing the sector. It is not a list of tokens to buy. This Surgence Labs report covers what the category actually measures, which protocols still produce revenue, which token models paid, who raised money, and how the 2026 court and regulatory calendar changes a 2027 launch.
GambleFi is the category of on-chain betting protocols and tokens that route wagering, liquidity provision and revenue distribution through smart contracts, so token holders or liquidity providers take the position a casino’s balance sheet used to take. It is the token and liquidity layer of on-chain betting, not a synonym for crypto casinos. The house can be a staking pool, a liquidity vault or a buyback contract. The edge can be paid in burns, staking rewards or LP fees. The players mostly bet in stablecoins, not in the native token. When revenue is real and verifiable, the token model compounds. When it is not, the token trades as if the model does not exist.
A token sector, not an industry.
